Heterodon
Eastern Hognose Snakes (Heterodon platyrhinos)
These are great snakes and truly undervalued in our hobby. They are by
far the most variable species of snake in North America, possibly the
world. I breed several lines and produce
solid black,
yellow, and
red, individuals.

Southern Hognose Snakes

pic 3 (Heterodon simus)
These southerns are non locale. The parents were from different
counties in Florida. Southern hognose are still too rare to be bred for
locality on a county level. These are captive bred by other private
breeders and actually show more color than my other locale animals.
Several bloodlines available!
Hidalgo County, New Mexico Mexican Hognose Snakes Pic 2 (Heterodon kennerlyi)
These show some great variation. Some examples have HIGH contrast while others have a more faded pattern.
